The European Journal of International Relations (EJIR) is the peer-reviewed journal of the European Standing Group on International Relations (SGIR) of the European Consortium for Political Research. It is edited by Barry Buzan of the London School of Economics.

European Journal of International Relations aims to reflect global subjects and theory debates that address and reflect the whole of the International Relations community wherever located. The journal provides a forum for scholarly debates about International Relations and represents no particular approach nor is it restricted to any particular methodology. European Journal of International Relations seeks to foster an awareness of methodological and epistemological questions in the study of International Relations.
European Journal of International Relations is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2010 impact factor is 1.426, ranking it 13 out of 73 journals in the category ‘International Relations’.[1]
